Quando parliamo d’Arte, ci dimentichiamo di pensare che stiamo parlando di un qualcosa che è frutto della visione di un artista,In pratica lui cerca di comunicare con NOI che lo guardiamo.

L’artista può farci riflettere, ridere, oppure incuriosire, ma siamo noi a decidere. Spesso, quando parli con una persona, capita di non riuscire a capire quello che ti stà dicendo. Magari hai bisogno di altre spiegazioni, allora ti documenti, ne parli ai tuoi amici e ascolti ciò che gli altri dicono, ma spetta a te decidere cosa ritieni più giusto. Ecco, un’opera è un po’ come una persona, è stata messa lì per dirci qualcosa e non è detto che TU lo capisca, magari dovrai cercare su internet, chiedere in giro, ma alla fine sarai sempre TU a decidere. Tutto questo è reso possibile da un meccanismo selettivo che risiede dentro di noi: il SENSO CRITICO. Ecco quale è il problema, per tutta la vita qualcuno al posto nostro ci dice cosa è giusto e cosa è sbagliato. Prima lo chiamiamo GENITORE e poi crescendo ESPERTO. Fortunatamente, arrivati ad un certo punto della vita iniziamo a pensare in maniera autonoma e sviluppiamo il famoso SENSO CRITICO. Da quel giorno, abbiamo il potere di credere in ciò che ci piace, oppure non ci piace e la cosa importante è che siamo NOI a farlo, non gli altri per noi. Cattelan non mi piace? Bene, allora non andrò a vedere una sua mostra. Però, è giusto sapere che al mondo ci sarà sempre qualcuno che, applicando più o meno il suo SENSO CRITICO, continuerà a ritenere belle e accattivanti le opere dell’artista italiano. Magari in un mondo fantastico, potremo decidere che nessuno debba più spendere un soldo per un artista. Però all’artista chi ci pensa? In fondo, se qualcuno acquista una sua opera, non fa altro che ripagare tutti i suoi sacrifici, gli permette di perseguire un suo sogno, senza dover più badare alle spese dell’affitto. No, sinceramente non me la sento di dargli questo dispiacere. Aspetta, pensiamoci un attimo. Ragioniamo. Forse, se non ci fossero più ACQUIRENTI, non ci sarebbero più ARTISTI e senza ARTISTI non ci sarebbero più OPERE e nemmeno le gallerie avrebbero ragione di esistere. Avremo solo più muri vuoti.
Chi pensa di fare buon uso del “senso critico” alzi la mano..TU!? Bene allora tienila così, resisti e prova a combattere, perché è giusto che tutti sappiano quanto poco te ne frega di quello che gli altri considerano giusto nell’arte, tanto sei TU a decidere. Pensiamo consapevolmente e giudichiamo con il NOSTRO senso critico, senza stare ad ascoltare chi con l’arte si arricchisce.
