C'è una frase di Keith Haring che mi sta facendo parecchio riflettere in questi giorni, e tu lo sai.

“C’è un’audience che viene ignorata, ma che non necessariamente è ignorante.” 

Cosa voleva dire secondo te? Forse quello su cui stiamo dibattendo da un po'. L'Arte oggi sta prendendo una piega particolare. E non parlo dell'Arte di strada, quella dei ragazzi, dei giovani artisti che per esprimersi colorano muri con bombolette, dipingono strade con gessetti, usano pali della luce come appendini...parlo di artisti come Cattelan, Hirst, Koons..parlo di Arte di cui non so parlare, forse perché sono ignorante, o forse perché davvero non c'è nulla da dire, già troppo è stato inutilmente detto.

Ma il dubbio sorge spontaneo: perché la gente deve farsi chiarire il significato di un'opera? 

Keith, ci manchi tanto.

Spiega a tutti questi individui che decidono di pagare 40 milioni di euro un'opera del tutto insipida e dal significato celato ai più (dico celato per non dire inesistente) che stanno sbagliando...

Perché la vera audience, il vero pubblico..la maggior parte delle volte non sta in una galleria immacolata ed incomprensibilmente piena di opere costosissime, la maggior parte delle volte non è per nulla ignorante,la maggior parte delle volte non è incurante di ciò che la circonda, forse vorrebbe davvero vivere circondata dall'arte, ma la maggior parte delle volte è solo un po' povera (nelle tasche).

What was he thinking about? Perhaps the one on which we are discussing for a while . Art today is taking a particular fold. And speaking of street art, that of boys, young artists to express themselves with aerosol stain walls, paint the streets with chalk, they use light poles as hangers ... I'm talking about artists like Maurizio Cattelan, Hirst, Koons.. I'm speaking of Art which I'm  not able to speak, maybe because i'm ignorant, or perhaps because there is really nothing to say, it was already too vain said.
But the question arises: why people should be clarified about the meaning of a work?

Explains all these people who decide to pay 40 million euros a work completely tasteless and with a meaning hidden fror the most (I say hidden to non-existent) they are wrong ...
Because the real audience, the real audience .. most of the time is not in a gallery full of works immaculate and incomprehensibly expensive, most of the time is not at all ignorant, most of the time is not unmindful of what there's around, maybe they really want to live surrounded by art, but for the most is just a little poor (in the pockets).
